Student of the Week - September 16, 2024
Maddison Austin is the Student of the Week for the week of September 16, 2024. She is participating in the afternoon session of the Early Childhood Education program at the Seneca Highlands Career and Technical Center. Maddison is a senior enrolled at Oswayo Valley High School. Upon graduation, Maddison is going to attend college to further her education in Early Childhood Education.
Maddison attends clinicals at Oswayo Valley Elementary School. Her extracurriculars include fall and winter cheerleading. She is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
Maddison enjoys spending time watching the New York Yankees, cheering, and volunteering with the Shinglehouse Fire Department and Senior Center.
We look forward to her efforts paying off as she strives to attain her Child Development Associate credential in the near future. Maddison has extended herself during her three years at the Career and Technical Center by taking Psychology 111, a free three-credit college course at the Career and Technical Center. She is taking a free college course, Children’s Literature, through Penn West at the CTC.
